Miquel House

Paint: The work seems to be going a bit slow…I got most of the master bedroom primed, but I still have to tackle the hardest part tomorrow; the ceiling. The master bedroom will take the most time, but I am hoping to get all the bedrooms primed and painted by next weekend. That’s the goal, not sure if it will happen. We probably won’t be putting the carpet in for at least another two weeks because the exterminator and vent cleaners still have to come. I also want to paint the hallway which will be a little tricky near the stairs. One step at a time.

Bluebirds: We have some nice wildlife in the backyard including a pair of bluebirds. I am very excited and looking forward to getting a bluebird house for them as well as some other feeders to attrack some finches.

Fridge: We went to sears tonight to get B a new battery for his drill (which he didn’t end up buying), but we did find a fridge instead. I have been eyeing up a Kenmore fridge and wanted to take a quick peek at them tonight. Ends up they had a discontinued model on the floor for 412 marked down from 1,179. The model I was looking at was the model that replaced the discontinued model. So essentially they are the same. I couldn’t figure out what the difference was. Kenmore Refrigerator.

Well today it finally happened. We closed on the house. I wish I took a picture of the lawn this morning because the weeds were at my waist. We managed to rip out the carpet upstairs.
